A beautiful and very decorative 5-piece vintage drink set made of high-quality pewter (94% pure tin), produced by the well-known Dutch pewter foundry Metawa Holland.
The set dates from the early 1960s and is in excellent vintage condition.
The set has a very elegant and slender appearance that fits well in both a classic and a modern mid-century interior.
The set consists of:
- 1 Large tin wine/liqueur decanter with a bulging shape, a gracefully worked handle, and the original, characteristic pointed stopper.
The bottom is furnished with the official round Metawa hallmark with the traditional 'Angel with the scales' and the text "Zinn - Tin - Pewter - Étain 94%".
- 4x accompanying tin goblets / drink glasses on a foot. The bottom of the glasses is marked with "Étain 94%".
