Pool table / billiard table - Trabant - 601S - 1982

This is a Pooltable with a 22mm 3-piece slate pool top. It's a standard 7-foot table with a Simonis 760 burgundy cloth and almost new Amarith balls. You can change the design by changing the cloth quite a bit. I also love the idea of an orange cloth.

It has been made into a piece of automobilia history with an original Trabant 601S Combi, which you can also see taken apart in the later pictures.

In many steps and long work hours I have built it to be a work of art with handmade cherrywood cushions made from a raw, years-long stored tree from private grounds of my dad. The inlays are with the original paint of the rest of the car in epoxy. Real leather pockets with old-school nails round up the looks of this exquisite gaming table.

As it looks like a car it kind of works like a car. All the lights are working and run on a 12V LiFePo4 battery, as well as the horn. To the best part: it’s got a 3-foot-based electronic leveling, a chassis with moving wheels and steering built in.

All of the above is steered with a DualShock 4 PS4 Controller.

It used to drive as well but it was too unstable for my taste so it’s getting sold without this option. If you would like it to be drivable you can reach out to me, the delivery time would be different and I would make it happen for an extra charge of at least 5,000, might be higher depending on the standard you would like this to work at.

In this case it would be an option that I deliver the table without the chassis and hand it in as soon as the work on it is finished.

We have taken it around places and played in multiple places of the Arlberg Ski Resort in Austria, in Innsbruck, Mainz, Nürnberg and a few other places.
