Vintage serving trolley / bar cart from the 60s – striking red – foldable chrome frame

A particularly decorative and practical vintage serving trolley from the 1960s, executed with a chrome-plated metal frame and two bright red panels with a wood grain texture. It is precisely this bold red color that makes this piece less commonplace and especially appealing within a retro or mid-century interior.

The trolley sits on four original wheels and, thanks to its clever foldable design, can be easily stored compactly. When unfolded it offers two generous levels for serving drinks, glasses, snacks, magazines or decorative objects. It also works well as a minibar, tea trolley or sideboard.

The combination of the shiny chrome and the warm red panels gives the trolley that recognizable 60s look. The rounded side frames enhance the elegant, light design.

Condition:
The trolley is in a neat vintage condition with signs of use and aging appropriate to its age. The chrome shows localized discoloration, oxidation and wear, especially around the wheels and some joints. The frame has been welded/repaired at one point in the past, clearly visible in the detail photo. This repair is part of the piece’s history and has been taken into account when assessing the condition. The red panels still look strikingly fresh overall and give the furniture a lot of character.
