Onkyo - CP-5000A Turntable

I am selling here my well-preserved Onkyo CP-5000A turntable. The unit impresses with its classic design and solid construction. Model features: This belt-driven turntable is notable for being an OEM model developed by the renowned Japanese company Micro Seiki for Onkyo. Micro Seiki tonearms enjoy worldwide as high esteem as the legendary British SME tonearms. This model features a highly sensitive, J-shaped, statically balanced tonearm. It is made from a lightweight yet stiff alloy to minimize resonances. Equipped with precision bearings with minimal play. Therefore, owners report a complete absence of distortion in the inner grooves (Inner Groove Distortion) – the needle follows the groove geometry perfectly. 3. Mechanical automatic return without any audio impairment. The turntable is semi-automatic. As soon as the needle reaches the run-out groove at the end of the record, the tonearm automatically lifts and returns to the starting position, and the motor shuts off.
