This unique photo was taken on the roof of the Bauhaus building in 1926. It is a photo of the faculty corps of the famous Bauhaus. This training institution was an art education institution. Bauhaus would also grow into a very important art movement in Germany (Dessau), for part still during the Weimar Republic. The photo shows teachers at Bauhaus, who themselves were or would become great artists. The photo shows, among others, Klee, Gropius, Kandinsky and Breuer! This photo was once owned by a photo press service. It supplied newspapers by producing prints!
