Description from the seller

Monumental Art Deco Glass Vase with Silver Overlay – The 1930s

An breathtaking and exceptionally large centerpiece from the Art Deco period (circa 1930).
This monumental vase combines the clean, geometric language of Art Deco with an exceptionally refined floral silver overlay decoration. The detailed silver floral and foliate motif is permanently fused to the glass via a galvanic technique.

The vase features an impressive bell-shaped body (flared trumpet shape) with curved, faceted sides that rest on a solid, six-sided foot. This stately size was produced at the time as an exclusive showpiece, and in these dimensions today is extremely scarce.

Thanks to its substantial weight of no less than 1400 grams, the vase radiates pure class, luxury and stability.
