The romantically located original was built in 1825 and is still in operation today. The two water wheels are driven by an inlet from above in the original and rotate in opposite directions. The model is equipped with a motor (12–16 V AC), which also moves the saw gate up and down. Includes terrain piece.

Day-trip tip in the Black Forest holiday region
The Hexenloch Mill, built as a sawmill, is one of the most beautiful, typical old Black Forest mills, nestled in idyllic nature and a popular starting point for numerous hikes. It is named after the narrow, canyon-like valley between St. Märgen and Furtwangen called “Hexenloch.” The mill today houses a restaurant with an outdoor terrace as well as shops offering Black Forest specialties and souvenirs. The FALLER model is a true perennial favorite and has been in the range continuously since 1982.
