Walnut side table in the Art Nouveau (Liberty) style dating to the 1920s–1930s.
Description from the seller
Beautiful carved walnut side table with a double shelf, characterized by a transitional style between the late Victorian period and Art Nouveau/Liberty. It features a hand-carved band with floral/geometric motifs along the front edge beneath the main top and vertical geometric decorations on the upper sections of the legs. It is equipped with a main upper surface and a convenient coordinated lower shelf, offering double surface space. The four legs terminate with a distinctive beaded-turning ("carved reed feet") typical of early/first half of the 20th century manufacture. The walnut wood shows a rich warm reddish tone, enhanced by a glossy finish that highlights the natural grain of the solid wood. A truly rare piece and in superb condition, beautiful and versatile, it can be used as a living-room coffee table, lamp stand, or bedside table for both classic and modern bedrooms."} } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } }
