Here is a piece of European industrial design history: the Philips 250 portable radio, produced in the early 1970s (circa 1972-1974). This model is famous among collectors for its bold color contrast between the matte black ABS body and the iconic tuning and volume knobs in bright lime green.
The design features clean lines, a geometric perforated grille, and a satin-finished aluminum retractable handle that also serves as a stand. The plexiglass talking scale displays the historic European radio stations of the era (MW/LW), adding an irresistibly nostalgic charm.
