Knife-sheath - Japan - 2010-2020

Nice lot of four vintage Japanese kitchen knives, each with its own character and shape. The knives originate from Japan and several pieces bear the original Japanese marks and inscriptions on the blade. The petty knife is stamped “SUPER 100 – Stainless Steel – Japan”.

The lot includes a nakiri with a total length of 27 cm, a bunka of 26 cm, a petty knife of 19 cm and a santoku of 28 cm. A versatile combination for slicing and mincing vegetables, meat, fish, and finer ingredients.

The knives have various traditional wooden and riveted handles and are in used vintage condition. The blades show normal signs of use, scratches and localized discoloration/patina, appropriate to their age and use. The original Japanese stamps and characters are still clearly visible on several knives.
