Morgan Dollar-type silver coin with a Liberty bust facing left, wearing a Phrygian cap decorated with cotton bolls and ears of wheat, in a naturalistic style with a well-defined relief characteristic of George T. Morgan's design. The reverse features a heraldic eagle with wings spread, holding arrows and an olive branch, surrounded by an open wreath and national mottos. It exhibits excellent original luster with bright fields and silvery reflections, while the eagle's plumage and the curls of the hair retain notable sharpness. An attractive specimen representative of the abundant Philadelphia issues in the context of the Bland–Allison Act and the heavy minting of silver dollars in the late 19th century.
