Description from the seller
La Cristallerie Royale de Champagne (1666 - 2016), located in Bayel, France, is world-renowned for its exceptional mouth-blown crystal.
The period from 1950 to 1980 marks a true golden age for this historic manufactory, combining ancestral know-how – mouth-blown glass – with post-war designs particularly refined.
Each piece from this era being entirely blown and hand-shaped, it is unique. The slight variations in height or thickness are not defects, but the very signature of this authentic craft. Most pieces from this era bear under their base a frosted or acid-etched signature, usually indicating "Royale de Champagne" or "Bayel France". The production was halted in 2016.
