Chandelier - Gilt bronze

In this auction, a wonderful and antique six-arm chandelier in gilded bronze, worked with foliate motifs and acanthus leaves, with original suspension and complete with every part of Roman origin. The chandelier is of notable size and is datable to roughly the first half of the 20th century. It is in excellent condition and, above all, presents no defects and is in a state of historic preservation. It was very likely displayed in some important historic palace in Rome, probably noble. Even today it can be found in some historic palaces. The gilding is well preserved. Given the weight of the bronze and the object's imposing presence, the total weight is 3 kg.
