Description from the seller

Enots Autoram Pattern 3177 brass grease gun – England – 1925–1940

A fine English Enots Autoram Pattern 3177 grease gun, dating from 1925–1940. Made in England, this well-engineered piece features a substantial brass body with finely knurled grip sections, a screw-operated pressure mechanism with T-shaped handle and original delivery nozzle.

The body is clearly marked “Enots Autoram Grease Gun – Made in England – Pattern No. 3177”, together with the original engraved operating instructions.

A particularly attractive example of interwar British engineering and early motoring equipment, combining practical workshop design with the quality of manufacture associated with period English automotive accessories. Today it also makes an appealing piece of vintage industrial and motoring memorabilia.

The grease gun remains in good vintage condition, showing surface marks, wear and a rich natural patination consistent with age and previous use. It has not been tested with grease and is offered as a collectable. Please refer carefully to the photographs, which form an integral part of the description.
