Octagonal Qing dynasty Bagua serving plate with the red seal of Emperor Tongzhi (1862-1874). The plate is in good condition with glossy porcelain. Famille rose. Taoist yin-yang motifs at the center surrounded by floral motifs, fruits and trigrams symbolizing longevity, wealth, and harmony. Multicolored. Original firing imperfections on the back, which is normal for a 19th-century piece. Signs of age and use: The gilding of the trigrams has worn in places.
