The Kuba are a confederation of nineteen groups led by the Bushong. More than twenty varieties of masks embody the spirits of these masks; three are the most significant: mwaash amboy, bwoom, and ngaady a mwaash. They belong to the royal family.
These masks are taken out and danced during public ceremonies, initiation rites, or various other rituals in honor of the king.
The items are sent with insurance and a tracking number.
