Anciently painted writing secretary (slant-front secretary) in Italian-Venetian Rococo style.
-multiple drawers in the lower section and a slant-closing writing compartment (secretary)
-The fronts are artfully hand-decorated with fine, colorful floral motifs (including blue and orange flowers) as well as decorative scrollwork (volutes).
-Hardware and details: the ornate, pierced metal handles and keyplates, as well as the carved, partly gilded frame moldings, emphasize the playful Rococo- or Baroque character of the piece.

The furniture is solid and heavy (probably beech), which points to high-quality wood.
It shows age-related traces.
