New bracelet featuring 24 pastel blue larimar spheres (6 mm) with 11 accompanying 18k yellow gold spheres on an elastic band, 17 cm circumference, total weight 8.35 g, certificate included, origin Dominican Republic.
Description from the seller
No reserve price
Magnificent Larimar pearl bracelet combined with small spheres of 18-karat yellow gold (same material as its clasp, in olive-shaped form).
Larimar is a blue pectolite. Unique in the world, the also-called “Caribbean blue stone” is mined only from the mountains of the Dominican Republic. This rarity is explained by its particular volcanic formation process, which makes it even more precious and coveted. When cut into a sphere, each of its pieces seems to have captured a bit of Caribbean sea foam inside.
A small curiosity: the American mystic Edgar Cayce mentioned the existence of a blue healing stone, used in Atlantis, with healing powers and able to favor spiritual communication. His followers drew a parallel between his description of this Atlantean stone and Larimar, discovered in the Dominican Republic in the seventies. Hence, at that time it was nicknamed the "Atlantis stone".
Larimar is rarely seen on the jewelry market. It is usually used in high-end jewelry.
This bracelet is a new jewelry piece (however, to assess its condition yourself please study the photographs carefully, they are part of the description).
