The features of the Akai GX-4000D include a 4-track stereo and mono recording and playback system, double VU meters for indicating recording and playback levels, a recording indicator lamp, a safety switch for recordings, a monitor switch, a 'sound-on-sound' recording function, microphone inputs and controls for the microphone recording level.

The two metal BASF reels with case are included, both with tape (content and quality unknown)
The plastic reel is NOT included.

Tip: if you have old tapes that haven’t been played for years, rewind them back and forth several times. This is to prevent the tape from sticking to the heads and leaving a coating.
Afterwards you should clean and demagnetize the entire circuit to avoid losing music quality.
