Ditmar Urbach - Biscuit box - 1643 - Ceramic

Beautiful large candy box covered in glazed ceramic, made by the Ditmar Urbach manufactory in Czechoslovakia, during the Art Deco period, around the 1920s-1930s.

It features an elegant geometric shape with rounded and stepped volumes, typical of Art Deco aesthetics.
The lid repeats the decoration and ends with a geometric handle particularly characteristic of the period.

Under the base is the original hallmark: “Hand-painted – Ditmar Urbach – Made in Czechoslovakia”, accompanied by the pattern or model number 1643.
