Elegant Dutch silver vase by the renowned silver manufacturer Koninklijke Van Kempen & Begeer.
The vase has a distinctive and elegant design with a tall faceted body, a pronounced scalloped rim and a beautifully shaped spreading foot. The combination of the vertical facets and flowing contours gives the vase a particularly decorative appearance.
The vase bears Dutch silver hallmarks, including the VKB maker’s mark of Koninklijke Van Kempen & Begeer, the standing lion with Roman numeral I, indicating Dutch first-standard silver of 925/1000, and a Minerva assay mark.
The design and hallmarks place the vase in the second half of the 20th century.
