Bust, Aphrodite, Venus - 62 cm - Plaster

Spectacular plaster bust of the goddess of love, Aphrodite or Venus, executed in classical style. This beautiful statue shows the young woman with a somewhat archaic smile and her hair held back by a ribbon. The statue has damages, most notably above the hair band, on the back of the hair and on the pedestal (please see the pictures), but nothing that stands out in everyday use.
