Wall lamp - Gilt bronze

Here is a pair of French neo‑antique wall sconces in the flamboyant Louis XV or Rococo style, in gilded bronze. Each sconce is equipped with two arms ending in elegant candle-socket holders, decorated with the asymmetric acanthus leaves and scrolls typical of that period. What is unique about this particular set is the central decoration representing a figure.
