Rare and very beautiful receiver from Hitachi from the golden hi-fi era (1972-1975)

This is a very well-preserved example!

The combination with the brushed aluminum front with aluminum knobs and real wooden side panels gives this device a unique, beautiful, high-quality vintage look

Visually in very good condition, with small signs of use on the front panel

The original wooden side panels are also still in very good condition. No notable damage, not even on the corners

As for the technical side: the receiver is fully internally and externally cleaned and extensively tested. The dial/backlighting has been completely renewed

All potentiometers and switches have been cleaned, so no issues with crackling knobs or switches

The receiver is equipped with several connection options, including a very good phono input

The tuner section has crystal-clear FM stereo reception, and the tuning is very selective, even with a simple wire as an antenna

The sound quality is truly fantastic, with that typical warm and punchy 1970s sound
