Collection of three vintage sterling silver / silver military sweetheart and regimental brooches, representing British and New Zealand military units.
1. 4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters)
An attractive silver and green enamel regimental sweetheart brooch featuring the crowned badge of the 4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), with crossed rifles and prominent numeral “4”.
The reverse carries full British silver hallmarks for Walker & Hall (W&H), Sheffield, including the lion passant and Sheffield crown, with date letter Q, dating the piece to 1908.
Approx. maximum measurement: 3.5 cm.
2. Tank Corps / Regiment “Fear Naught” sweetheart brooch
Silver and enamel military sweetheart brooch featuring a detailed tank beneath a King’s Crown, surrounded by a green enamel wreath and blue enamel scroll bearing the motto “FEAR NAUGHT”.
Suspended from a silver bar brooch marked STERLING to the reverse.
Approx. maximum measurement including bar/pin: 3.5 cm.
3. New Zealand “NZ ONWARD” sweetheart bar brooch
Small silver New Zealand military sweetheart brooch featuring the crowned NZ insignia within a wreath and the motto “ONWARD”, mounted centrally on a long bar brooch.
Silver marked to the reverse.
