Leica M3 Analogue camera

Leica M3 with black lacquer finish.
This is a first-series model equipped with the characteristic strap lugs known as “Buddha ears.”
The black lacquer finish is superb: smooth, uniform, and exceptionally well preserved.
This camera embodies the absolute benchmark of the classic aesthetic of fully mechanical Leicas. It is in excellent condition, perfectly functional, and features an impeccable exterior finish. All components have undergone rigorous testing; the body is in very good condition and the shutter speeds are accurate. The rangefinder mechanism functions correctly and the internal mechanical parts have benefited from professional Leica maintenance (CLA); the shutter curtains are flat and in excellent condition. The viewfinder has been serviced by a professional: it is bright and sharp, allowing quick and precise focusing thanks to the yellow rangefinder patch.
The leatherette covering in the lower-left corner is original; due to age-related oxidation and embrittlement, there is slight flaking or a small loss of material.
