A beautiful and richly decorated antique French furniture-, mirror- or clock ornament (fronton) in the classical Louis XVI style, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century.

This high-quality object is made of heavy cast bronze (or brass) and on the front features a stunning gold-colored fire-gilded or patinated finish. The refined design shows a central medallion flanked by symmetrical garlands of foliate tracery, flowers and acanthus motifs.

The back bears the authentic French inscribed mark "Déposé" (registered design) and the model number 370C, testifying to an official and protected design. Also on the back is the original mounting screw, surrounded by a beautiful natural green patina (verdigris). A wonderful collector’s item or restoration piece.

Een prachtig en rijkelijk gedecoreerd antiek Frans meubel-, spiegel- of klokkenornament (fronton) in de klassieke Louis XVI-stijl, daterend uit de late 19e of vroege 20e eeuw.

Dit hoogwaardige object is vervaardigd uit zwaar gegoten brons (of messing) en aan de voorzijde voorzien van een schitterende, goudkleurige vuurvergulde of gepatineerde afwerking. Het verfijnde ontwerp toont een centraal medaillon geflankeerd door symmetrische guirlandes van bladranken, bloemen en acanthusmotieven.

De achterzijde draagt de authentieke, ingegoten Franse merkaanduiding "Déposé" (geregistreerd model) en het modelnummer 370C, wat getuigt van een officieel en beschermd kwaliteitsontwerp. Tevens is aan de achterzijde de originele montageschroef aanwezig, omringd door een prachtig natuurlijk groen patina (verdigris). Een prachtig verzamelobject of restauratiestuk.
