This hand-knotted Oriental rug runner from India features a traditional Kazak design. The bold red inner field is defined by five large dark-blue diamond medallions and is adorned with stylized flowers, animals and geometric tribal motifs.

A wide cream-colored border with abstract hooked and vine elements, as well as narrow black-and-white side borders, frame the inner field in striking contrast. The vibrant color palette of red, dark blue, cream, green and brown gives the runner a strong and distinctive presence.

Thanks to its long, narrow format, the rug is especially suited for hallways, foyers, entryways, or as a decorative accent in narrow living spaces.
