Antique Mantel Clock Garniture – Japy Frères & Cie (circa 1855–1880)
​Clock and movement: Original movement by Japy Frères & Cie (Medal of Honor), fully functional (including the striking mechanism). White dial with Roman numerals and inscription.
​Design: Solid black base with inset green marble and a patinated metal figure depicting a seated philosopher/writer.
​Candelabras: Two impressive pieces, each with 4 lateral arms and a central tip (total of 5 candles), stylistically perfectly coordinated. Note: It is not guaranteed that they belong to the original movement set, but they are very old pieces of exceptional quality that fit perfectly.

​Design: Massiver schwarzer Sockel mit Einsätzen aus grünem Marmor und einer patinierten Metallfigur, die einen sitzenden Philosophen/Schriftsteller darstellt.
