Description
In auction, a fascinating two-seater bench-style sofa, a piece of furniture that evokes the solidity and style of the Louis XIII period. Made in the early decades of the 20th century, this furniture piece combines the robustness of solid wood with a padding in Bordeaux-colored faux leather, finished with decorative metal studs.
Main Features:
Style: Louis XIII-inspired. You can notice the characteristic curved armrests with scroll terminals, the straight back, and, above all, the turned legs in a column joined by an H-brace, which confer stability and a sober, elegant look.
Materials: Structural frame in solid wood (probably walnut or stained beech), with a fine antique patina. The seat, backrest and armrest padding is covered in Bordeaux faux leather.
