Vatican. 1976, Mint Set Incl. Silver (No reserve price)

This set is not made of a single metal, but contains a mix of four different metals depending on the value of the coin:
Silver (.835): Only the largest coin (the 500 Lire at the top middle) is made of silver. This also gives the set its base value.
Acmonital (stainless steel): The 50 and 100 Lire coins are made from this specific Italian steel-chromium alloy.
Bronzital (bronze/brass): The gold-colored 20 Lire coin at the bottom middle is made from an alloy of copper, aluminum and nickel.
Italma (aluminium): The smallest and lightest coins (1, 2, 5 and 10 Lire) are made from an aluminium alloy.
