Thonet Wien – Antique armchair – ca. 1890–1915

Original antique Thonet armchair, manufactured in Vienna around the end of the 19th / beginning of the 20th century. Under the chair is the old paper factory label “THONET WIEN.”

Made with bentwood featuring gracefully shaped armrests, spindle back, and a distinctive turned front leg. The seat is upholstered in dark brown leather and finished with decorative metal furniture nails.

The chair is in a beautiful authentic vintage condition with normal signs of use and aging. The leather shows craquelé and wear, appropriate to its age; see photos.

Thonet Wien – Antieke armstoel – ca. 1890–1915

Originele antieke Thonet armstoel, vervaardigd in Wenen rond het einde van de 19e/begin van de 20e eeuw. Onder de stoel bevindt zich het oude papieren “THONET WIEN” fabriekslabel.

Uitgevoerd in gebogen hout met sierlijk gevormde armleuningen, spijlenrug en een karakteristieke gedraaide voorpoot. De zitting is bekleed met donkerbruin leer en afgewerkt met decoratieve metalen meubelnagels.

De stoel verkeert in een mooie authentieke vintage staat met normale gebruiks- en ouderdomssporen. Het leer vertoont craquelé en slijtage, passend bij de leeftijd; zie foto's.
