Epidote crystals on matrix from Morocco, a single meteorite specimen weighing 920 g and measuring 14 × 7.5 × 8 cm.
Description from the seller
Interesting specimen of Epidote on matrix from Morocco, with rich crystallization distributed over a large part of the surface.
The Epidote appears in numerous green crystals, from lighter hues to areas decidedly darker, with a nice luster that creates numerous reflections.
The crystallization follows the irregular morphology of the matrix, forming aggregates and small cavities rich in crystals.
Particularly interesting is the contrast between the green Epidote and some pink-orange formations present on the matrix, clearly visible also in the close-up photograph.
The specimen is photographed from several angles; the back clearly shows the natural matrix.
