Description:A beautiful, extensive, and historically interesting collection of original plastic promotional figures (54mm scale) Miniatures and History. These highly collectible miniatures were produced and released during the 1960s (starting in 1963) by the well-known Belgian coffee roaster Café Storme Koffie Miniatures and History. The ambitious goal of this "2000 Years of History" series at the time was to depict the entirety of Belgian history Miniatures and History.
This lot consists of a wonderful variety of 95 figures in total from various historical eras: 80 infantrymen / foot soldiers 15 mounted knights / ridersIncludes 2 original shields / logos of the Storme brand.

Condition:The figures are generally in a beautiful, colorful condition with very well-preserved, original paint. As is common with these fragile vintage series, there are some signs of age and use: 80 figures are completely intact.
15 figures have sustained damage (such as a broken lance or bow).
Important note: Apart from the damages mentioned above, a few riders have detached from their horses.

Added Value & Photography:For 4 of the damaged figures, the original broken lances/bows are included separately, allowing a collector to restore them accurately.

All 95 figurines have been individually and carefully photographed.

Manufactured in France, these highly collectible miniatures were designed to chronologically depict the rich history of Belgium Miniatures and History.This varied lot features 81 foot soldiers and 14 mounted riders, including highly sought-after figures from the Gauls & Romans era (such as Ambiorix) and the Crusaders / Medieval period (such as Godfrey of Bouillon). It also includes 2 rare, original Storme brand shields. The vast majority (80 pieces) are completely intact with beautifully preserved original paint; loose parts for restoration are included for the remaining figures. All figures have been individually photographed. A wonderful opportunity for collectors of rare vintage coffee premiums and historical miniatures!
