This ashtray with holder and lid is Emaux de Longwy pottery, characterized by vivid blue decorations in detailed faience with coloured cloisonné enamel technique. The pattern on the outside is officially known within Longwy heritage as Fleur de Pommier (or decor no. D188). It bears the necessary marks on the underside that guarantee the period and authenticity. A very special and exceptional table piece in perfect condition.

It is a cleverly designed, multi-purpose item. The sides are two semi-circular ashtrays with notches to rest cigarettes. The central piece is a raised rectangular compartment with a lid, used as a storage box for cigarettes, tobacco, and matches.

Deze asbak met houder en deksel is Emaux de Longwy aardewerk, gekenmerkt door een felblauwe versieringen in gedetailleerde faience met gekleurde cloisonne emaille techniek.
Het patroon op de buitenkant staat binnen het Longwy-erfgoed officieel bekend als Fleur de Pommier ( of decor nr D188).
Voorzien van de nodige merktekens op de onderzijde die de periode en de echtheid garanderen.
Een zeer speciaal en uitzonderlijk tafelstuk in perfecte staat.


Het is een slim gecombineerd gebruiksvoorwerp.
De zijkanten zijn twee halfronde asbakjes met inkepingen om sigaretten in te laten rusten.
Het middenstuk is verhoogd rechthoekig compartiment met een deksel, Dit wordt gebruikt als opbergdoosje voor sigaretten, tabak, lucifers.
