Pair of antique French cane dining chairs. Beautiful carved wooden frames with curved cabriole legs, shaped backs, decorative crest detail and handwoven cane/rattan seats and backs.
The chairs have an elegant French Louis XV / Rococo Revival look and work well as dining chairs, side chairs or decorative accent chairs. The wooden frames have a warm brown polished finish with attractive age-related patina.
The cane seats and backs are present, with natural colour variation and age-related wear. One chair has a darker cane back, visible in the photos. The chairs show normal antique signs of use.
