Antique early 1900s double bed sheet in embroidered linen – 230 × 268

Made in fabric presumably linen, with a nice substance and a tight weave, enriched by refined embroidery and openwork.

The sheet measures about 230 × 268 cm, unusually large dimensions that still allow it to be used on a double bed today.

The item is very well preserved considering its age. It has only a small yellowish stain, visible up close, which I note for accuracy. There are no tears or obvious damage to the fabric.

Two pillowcases with the initials AP are included.

Realizzato in tessuto presumibilmente di lino, di bella consistenza e con trama fitta, impreziosito da raffinati ricami e lavorazione a giorno.

Il lenzuolo misura circa 230 × 268 cm, dimensioni particolarmente ampie che ne consentono ancora oggi l’utilizzo su un letto matrimoniale.

Il capo è molto ben conservato considerando l’età. Presenta solamente una piccola macchiolina gialla, visibile da vicino, che segnalo per correttezza. Non risultano strappi o danni evidenti al tessuto.
