Chair - Walnut, Cotton damask - 19th century

Louis-Philippe-style chair originating from Italy, produced in the second half of the 19th century (1850–1900).

It features a dark walnut wooden frame, with an open, pierced backrest with organic lines reminiscent of a lyre or violin design. Front cabriole legs; rear saber legs. The seat is reupholstered in a damask cotton fabric in green tones.

It is an item around 170 years old. It presents small restorations professionally carried out over the years, signs of use and imperfections due to the passage of time as seen in the close-up images.
