Wiskemann - Champagne cooler - Silver leaf - champagne bucket

Beautiful champagne bucket in silver-plated metal made by the Belgian silversmith firm Wiskemann.
It features a rich Rococo/Louis XV style decoration characterized by asymmetric acanthus foliage motifs, chased volutes, and a central blank cartouche (originally intended to be engraved with coats of arms or initials).
As the hallmark indicates, it is silver-plated.
It dates from the interwar period (1920-1935) (see the neat rectangular WISKEMANN mark associated with a five-digit serial number).
