Bedspread - 274 cm - 179 cm

This splendid handmade filet lace or embroidered mesh bedspread, measuring 179 x 274 cm, antique from the 1930s or 1940s, is a true heirloom jewel, ideal as a matrimonial bedspread or gala tablecloth.

It stands out for the meticulous craftsmanship in a natural cream tone, with refined floral motifs in relief and a lovely scalloped edge.

Its condition is excellent, with a firm structure and no tears in the mesh. It only shows three small stains, somewhat expected in a piece so old, and I did not dare to attempt removing them for fear of damaging it.

An impeccable vintage piece and very elegant, ready to dazzle in your home. Very hard to come by, it is delivered exactly as shown in the photographs.
