Impressive antique silver-mounted wooden box, dating to around 1900.

Crafted from dark solid hardwood and richly decorated with solid 833 silver mounts, including elaborate floral corner ornaments and a large decorative inscription across the lid.

A particularly notable detail is the pair of solid 833 silver hinges, also hallmarked, reflecting the high quality of craftsmanship. The box is further enhanced by finely carved geometric decoration and a distinctive scalloped border.

The combination of dark polished wood and substantial silver decoration gives the piece a particularly elegant and luxurious appearance.
