Description from the seller
Antique/Vintage K.A.T.C. Grill badge – Carinthia, Austria
Beautiful and characterful vintage grill badge from the Kärntner Automobil- und Touring Club (K.A.T.C.) of Austria.
This fine automobilia is made of metal and features red and white guilloché enamel. In the center is the historic coat of arms of Carinthia, with the distinctive three gold lions on a red background, crowned by an Austrian sovereign’s crown.
Such richly worked automobilia badges were formerly mounted on the grille or radiator of classic cars as a sign of membership, club participation, or as a memento of an automobilia organization. Today, original specimens are beloved collectibles within the world of vintage automobilia, car club badges, and classic cars.
