Sofa - Wood, Velvet

Antique carved wooden sofa for the living room in eclectic style, presumably late 1800s.

In solid wood, hand-carved with volutes and decorations on the armrests, on the crest and on the front frieze. The upholstery has been redone in a green and gold striped fabric.

Conditions: Shows the usual signs of age and use (minor abrasions on the wood, upholstery slightly worn). Solid structure and intact carvings.

Provenance: Piece from a noble Puglian family, originally Spanish.
