The work “Untitled (Yellow Baby)” by Keith Haring is one of his most recognized icons, created in 1983. It depicts the figure of a yellow baby radiating light, drawn with his characteristic bold lines and surrounding motion marks, symbolizing innocence, life, and hope.
Keith Haring (1958 1990) was an American artist associated with street art and graffiti in 1980s New York. He began drawing with white chalk on empty advertising panels in the subway. An interesting anecdote is that the “Radiant Baby” became his personal emblem: he often drew it spontaneously and said it was his way of representing “the pure energy of life.”
