Ancient triptych mirror or barber’s mirror from the Napoléon III era or the early 20th century, in a japonizing style.
Panels made of cardboard depicting a crane in flight, figures and plum blossoms.
The cartouche at the top left refers to the famous Mitsui company and mentions Paris. A witness to the great wave of Japonisme in France.
The carved wooden frame imitates bamboo.
Three movable panels. The mirrors are old. Minor tin loss on the central mirror and a visible chip in the lower corner of the right mirror.
