Impressive artisanal decorative hanging made entirely from numerous natural shells assembled into garlands.

The structure features several circular levels clad with natural fibers, from which hang many rows of small shells. The whole forms a particularly voluminous and spectacular piece, with a very beautiful decorative effect when suspended.

The assembly work is especially dense and requires a large number of shells.

This piece can find its place in a bohemian, ethnic, seaside, or curiosity cabinet decor.

Estimated period: second half of the 20th century, probably around 1970–1990.

Materials: natural shells, fibers/cordage and rigid structure.
