Description from the seller

Grand Beaded Vase Bamiléké (Cameroon) - Royal Art
- Height 37.5 cm x 18 cm.
Weight 4350 Grams

Stunning prestige vase from Bamileke craftsmanship (Cameroon), entirely covered with a complex and colorful beaded work. This type of object, historically linked to chieftains, symbolises wealth and social status.
The piece features a rigid structure adorned with raised geometric motifs, creating a striking contrast with the glass seed bead work (red, blue, yellow and turquoise).
The beadwork is exceptional and requires hundreds of hours of work.
Main features :
Origin: Grassfields region, Cameroon.
Technique: Manual beadwork on a traditional structure.

Condition: Very good overall condition. Colors remain vivid and the beadwork is very well preserved, with no missing beads.
Note: Presence of two very small, ancient breaches on the interior of the neck, testaments to the piece’s age and authenticity, not affecting its solidity or overall aesthetics (see photo).
A piece of character, ideal for a primitive art collection or high-quality ethnographic decoration.
Fast and meticulous shipping with tracking and insurance.
