Rare pair of Art Nouveau glass salt cellars made by Daum, Nancy. France, circa 1900.

Oval models with a delicately etched decor of flowers, partly gilded. The top is also gilded. Set in a gilded silver (vermeil) mount of flowers and with the original silver spoons. All stamped MV in a diamond-shaped cartouche with a King chess piece in the center for the silversmith Moisy Vierny. Who more often executed mounts for Daum glass.
