Rare Art Nouveau glass mustard pot made by Daum, Nancy. France, ca. 1900.

Globular body with a delicately etched decoration of flowers, partly gilded. Set in a gilded silver (vermeil) floral mount and with the original silver spoon. Stamped MV in a shield, with a chess King in the center, for the silversmith Moisy Vierny, who more often produced mounts for Daum glass.

Good condition. The silver has not been polished. In the silver lid there is a small crack, see detail photos.

Zeldzaam Art Nouveau glazen mosterdpotje vervaardigd bij Daum, Nancy. Frankrijk, ca. 1900.

Bolvormig mosel met delicaat geëtst decor van bloemen die deels verguld zijn. Gezet in een verguld zilveren (vermeille) montuur van bloemen en met het originele zilveren lepeltje. Gekeurd MV in een ruit met in het midden een schaakstukken Koning voor de zilversmid Moisy Vierny. Die vaker voor Daum glas monturen uitvoerde.

Goede conditie. Het zilver is niet gepoetst. In het zilveren dekseltje een klein scheurtje, zie detailfoto's.
