Description from the seller

Incised and faceted cut glass goblet service ("à violettes"), Carlo X style – three sizes, 35 pieces.

Description
Set of 35 transparent glass goblets, decorated with incised and faceted work, in Carlo X style.

The decoration features floral motifs, scrolls and geometric elements, with relief work and facet surfaces. The shapes and the decorative arrangement recall the ornamental taste of glass production from the Carlo X period.

Service composition:

11 water glasses – height about 14.5 cm
12 wine glasses – height about 13 cm
12 liqueur glasses – height about 11 cm

In the context of French glass art, especially between the Restoration and the Carlo X period, with the inscription "verre à violette" it generally indicates a type of glass decorated with violet motifs or small stylized flowers, often produced by engraving, grinding, or relief decoration.

Conditions: very good. The glasses are overall well preserved, with sharp decorations and good transparency of the glass. Where visible, minimal signs attributable to use and storage are present.

Tracked national and international shipping by courier.
